Jeffrey manages the Trusts & Estates practice at MMPS. Beginning his legal career as a litigator representing individuals in employment disputes, Jeffrey became drawn to estate planning after helping a client and his family deal with the death of the family patriarch who had died without a will. Upon seeing first-hand the financial turmoil and emotional devastation that failing to properly plan can have on the surviving family members, Jeffrey became passionate about the importance of proper estate planning to both the financial and emotional well-being of families. Jeffrey engages in a practical, client-centric approach to estate planning. He knows that getting an estate plan in place is almost never anyone’s top priority on any given day, which is likely a primary reason that recent studies show that 70% of Americans do not have an estate plan. Accordingly, Jeffrey has designed his practice to make understanding and engaging in the planning process as easy as possible for his clients. Departing from the old, big law style of requiring clients to come to multiple meetings in a law firm conference room, Jeffrey strives to accommodate his clients’ busy lives and regularly schedules calls and meetings at nights and on weekends, in-person and by phone or Skype, in his office and the clients’ office or home. Every client he works with has his personal cell phone number and is specifically instructed to call anytime.
