Matthew has been practicing in the firm's Commercial Real Estate and Condominium, Cooperative and Development Groups since 2013. He handles a wide variety of real estate and business matters, including representing lenders, developers and investors in the financing, acquisition and development of commercial and residential properties.
In his commercial real estate practice, Matthew represents financial institutions, non-banking financial companies, commercial banks, private equity companies, hedge funds, lending funds, mortgage servicers, developers, domestic and international high net worth individuals and investment groups in all facets of lending, borrowing and other real estate matters.
In his Condominium, Cooperative and Development practice, Matthew represents numerous developers throughout the five boroughs in all phases of the condominium and cooperative formation and development process. Matthew counsels clients through planning, formation and structure of new construction condominium and cooperatives. He also assists clients on the conversion of existing buildings into commercial and residential condominium and cooperative units. His work includes the preparation, submission and filing of offering plans before the New York State Department of Law, the drafting of declarations and by-laws, and the negotiation of purchase and sale agreements.
Prior to joining MMPS, Matthew worked at a litigation firm where he assisted in the representation of injured individuals and families in all areas of products liability, premises liability, and highly complex personal injury matters. Matthew was also competitively selected to serve as a judicial intern for the Hon. Harold A. Ackerman in the United States District Court of New Jersey.
